	How do I know I will get the best prices?

	Do you provide written appraisals?
If you are selling something, what you need is an offer, not an appraisal. An offer is the actual price someone will pay you today for an item. Someone who tells you what you should get for an item but won't buy it himself is not making an offer. A dealer who suggests a consignment of items at estimated selling prices is not making an offer. Your items may not sell for some time and they may ultimately bring considerably less than the estimate. In fact, they may not sell at all. We make our offers (not appraisals) during personal conferences between our expert buyers and our clients. An offer is how much we can pay right now for your item.
	Does SEB report my transaction to the IRS?
No. SEB has no responsibility to report purchases, or parties from whom we purchase, to the Internal Revenue Service.
	Do I speak directly with your buyers about my item(s)?
Yes. You will sit down with the buyer assigned to you and he or she will discuss with you our findings and payment offers. The buyer will share opinions and options while leaving you with the final decision of whether or not you would like to sell. If you choose not to sell, there is no further obligation on your part and no hard feelings on ours.
	What about selling to a pawnshop or a local jeweler?
We believe selling to SEB will give you the highest prices and the best overall experience. While we have customers worldwide who we sell to, a local pawnshop or jewelry store is limited to a relatively small pool of local customers. For this reason, they often decide to resell many items to a company such as ours. So by coming straight to us, you eliminate the middleman, are assured top dollar for your items, receive great customer service and enjoy a hassle-free experience.
